Never before .. never again
Never before .. never again
I know that you love what you love
what you love .. what you love
But I can not give it to you
I can only afford what little I have
Do you understand?
Do you understand?
Never before .. never again
Now I can’t tell you how I ever felt
‘cause I never had this feelin’g inside
No no no .. no no no .. no
I can’t remember when
Never before .. never again
Take me away
Take me away
Do you understand?
Do you understand?

Lately I’ve been alone
Thinking to myself,
I…
I want to know why?
why do you lie,
why do you lie,
why do you lie?
Lately I’ve been alone
Sittin’ in my home
Thinking ‘bout the good things,
Worrying about the bad.
You say, you play
but you don’t touch.
You say, you play
but you don’t touch.
You say.
You’re a liar,
You’re a liar,
You’re a liar,
You’re a liar.
Breaking my trust,
making it rust.
You lie, you lie, you lie!
Why do you lie,
why do you lie,
why do you lie?
Lately I’ve been alone
Sittin’ in my home
Thinking ‘bout the good things,
worrying about the bad,
worrying about the bad,
worrying about the bad.

Summer,
summertime is here.
Another day has passed,
a hot one indeed.
I don’t know why I’m thinking of you
especially since, since we’re through.
I don’t know why I’m thinking of you
especially since, since we’re through.
Misconstrue Lady Blue, misconstrue Lady Blue,
patio time .. summer months,
indigo trees and a misty breeze,
fruit to boot and niceties … niceties … niceties.
Summer .. summer
Summer .. summer
Don’t let those girls get you down,
There’s so many more.
So, remember to .. keep your windows all the way down,
Smile when they pass or frown,
misconstrue Lady Blue .. misconstrue Lady Blue,
patio time .. summer months,
indigo trees and a misty breeze.
Summer .. summer
Summer .. summer

I know a girl .. she knows a man
they are friends of mine
Well, I love her she loves him
and I’m stuck here in the middle
Why do I always have to be?
Why do I always have to be?
Why do I always have to be ..
middleman .. middleman?
Last I heard from them
they were way down in Mexico
Way down on the western side,
with all those white sanded .. coconut frosted ..
beaches
And I’m stuck up here .. way up in North Dakota
Why do I always have to be?
Why do I always have to be ..
middleman .. middleman?
If I could only have one more dance with that girl
oh I’d love it ..

Opened my eyes and what did I see?
A beautiful lady named Linda Marie
Linda is a love of mine, from twenty years ago
we went out late last night to the dance hall . . .
We walked in the front door and the band said,
“hey, come on down now and dance now people dance”
So, move those hips and shake those thighs,
baby, I can’ t help fallin’ in your eyes
Move those hips and shake those thighs,
baby, I can’t help fallin’ in your eyes
that I can’t disguise .. fallin’ in your eyes,
can’t help fallin’ in .. can’t help fallin’ in
fallin’ in your eyes

I met a girl near . . .
Hollywood and Vine

Hollywood and Vine
The question is
would she be?
would she be?
Pink top .. white pants
cute face .. little shoes
Would she be
Would she be .. the woman for me?
We talked for a minute .. stepped in a shop
there were wigs on the wall .. and sex toys too
A man-she who was exceptionally tall
stood behind the counter .. gazing at us
So, we politely smiled and stepped out in the breeze
walkin’ towards the celebrities
A girls stops .. we look
she says, “ go in to the institute”
kids play .. girls scream
romance .. wanna’ dance,
with the girl from?

She needed to go
So I accompanied her to the curb
but she took my number anyway
The very next day she called me
I told her she was fun and to call me anytime
Then she came to visit me,
we had a fine time and a photo shoot
But there was a misunderstanding
at the end .. I took her to the airport
and told her one last thing …
Flowers bloom .. when they open to the sky
Flowers bloom .. when they open to the sky
And all this happened with the girl
I met near Hollywood and Vine

Caroling for Christmas
Released: December 4, 2007
Caroling for Christmas
“Caroling for Christmas” started two years ago at my mother’s house during Christmas break. I was on the porch with my great aunt and sister; that’s when I came across the main riff. My great aunt came up with the line “Bob Cratchit works so hard he never has time to go in his yard.” That is when I knew the song needed to reference Charles Dickens’ classic book, A Christmas Carol. It was not for two more years that I would actually finish the song. It really stands for giving to those in need love; which I think is far more important than money. So, acknowledge the poor if you see them on the street. However, the song did not only have the desperate in mind. It also is meaningful for people who may have lost a loved one and the holiday season reminds them of those bad times. “So find those with an empty glove, take your hand and fill it with love.”

Christmas comes and goes each year,
bringing everybody so much cheer!
Ebenezer Scrooge is a mean old man
he’ll try to block Christmas if he can.
Caroling for Christmas is what we do
Old Bob Cratchit works so hard
he never has time to go in his yard.
You know as well as I every girl and boy
does not see Santa.
Inequity runs in season
and Scrooge still loves the dark,
and how cheap it is.
So, find those with an empty glove
Take your hand and fill it with love.
Sometimes it takes a ghostly sight
to wake and scare us in the night.
Ebenezer Scrooge is a mean old man
but this year he’s got a new plan!
Caroling for Christmas is what I do
